Growth has created a role for an energetic technically focussed person in the Sydney team.In your new permanent role, you will be responsible for the commissioning of software and systems at customer sites.  IP and server based technologies including CCTV, Access Control, paging, intercoms, nurse call, BMS etc.  This is a great opportunity to utilise your broad technical skills, including electronics,  software and networking skills.As a budding technologist you will be comfortable in an environment that uses wi-fi , messaging to hand held devices, networking and infrastructure.Your skill-set will include:Fast learner, inquisitive, approachable and keen to learn new applicationsSolid understanding of software that controls devices.Well versed in Windows server platforms, as well as in Unix systems, Linux and/or RedhatA solid understanding of network infrastructure (routers, wireless networks) and technologies (Wi-fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)A relevant tertiary qualification including Network Engineering Diploma, Electronics Technician or IT/Engineering Degree.On-the-job training will be provided on a wide range of products and systems.What is absolutely essential, is your strong communication skills and professional, customer focussed manner.
