Their applications are transforming new renewable energy (Solar & Wind) and are a game changer for Telecommunications, Mining & Manufacturing and Emergency Services.The market has responded so favourably that they are required to recruit a new, key team member, a National Business Development Manager, to lead and drive this success.In Your New Role, as “National Business Development Executive” in their Technology distribution division, you will develop and execute the route to market strategy. Principally this requires engaging existing and new channel partners and developing the value proposition and pricing scenarios that enable your partners and your company to win profitable new business within Australia. Success will include training partner sellers and joining them in engaging new corporate clients in the field.You will be part of a team of professionals working in a business operating for 30 years in the Australian telecommunications market. Your key mandate will be to grow the partner base in the Telecommunication, Industrial, Mining and Smart City sectors to increase sales and market awareness in Australia.Your Responsibilities Will Include;Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the product portfolioDevelop and maintain a clear understanding of your partners’ products and servicesIdentifying prospective clients / sales opportunities within key market sectorsEffective management of the sales and prospecting life-cycleMaintaining sales records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolMonitor and report on competitor activity and capabilityYou Will Be, a Technical Sales expert with industry experience in Telecommunications, Energy & Utilities or other relevant sectors. You experience will include a minimum of 5 years direct sales and 5 years channel management sales success. You will be a self-starter who can demonstrate consistent meeting of agreed KPIs and who is resilient in sales. You are proven B2B sales hunter with a reputation as a pro-active sales leader who is ambitious and driven to succeed. Your previous experience includes ‘board-room level sales’, engaging client managers, their technical advisors and CTO.
